PSC's occupational health team delivers comprehensive, integrated occupational health and wellness services through a nationwide network of over 300 PSC managed sites and reaching nearly 1.8 million federal employees. Clinical health and wellness services improve and maintain the health of federal employees, increase overall productivity, and help managers meet federal regulatory requirements.

Services offered include:

  • FedStrive Advantage — a comprehensive wellness program offered to federal employees.
  • FedStrive Virtual — low-cost virtual health promotion programs for remote users
  • FedStrive Prime — non-RN-based on-site health and wellness programs
  • FedStrive Premium — comprehensive on-site health programs including FedStrive Advantage services plus Fitness, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and Work/Life services
  • Management and oversight of on-site health centers
  • Management of confidential medical records (conversion to FedHealth, an electronic medical record system, in 2018)
  • Specialized programs for law enforcement agencies
  • Physical exams (e.g., pre-placement, preventive, periodic, regulatory compliance/surveillance, and fit for duty)
  • Analysis of exposure to job hazards (e.g., noise and asbestos and other toxic chemicals)
  • Medical surveillance programs to monitor exposure to job hazards
  • Medical Employability Program (MEP) works with agency managers to find cost-effective ways of retaining employees and reducing attrition
  • Medical clearance (e.g., commercial driver's license and respirator use)
  • Expert medical consultation for reasonable accommodation, family and medical leave, OPM disability package review, case management and health problems that may impact employee populations
  • Consultation on pandemic flu preparedness and Continuity of Operations Plans (COOPs)
  • Expertise in disaster health and response to national emergencies and natural/man-made disasters; rapid response capability with staff and supplies
  • Determination of risk of exposure to communicable diseases (e.g., tuberculosis, hepatitis, and meningitis)
  • Ebola response training
  • Immunizations and Travel Service programs for immunizations and medications
